For Sale: 1968 Norton Commando. Sold!

This is a 1968 Norton Commando Fastback. This bike was part of an estate collection of British motorcycles I was selling. This Norton was a really special bike because it's completely original, and had never been restored. This Norton Commando had the rare round badges inlaid in the tank and tail. This signifies that it was one of the first 400 Norton Commandos produced. This bike was also rare because it had matching frame and engine numbers, which, is rare because these first commandos were rushed to production and the frames were known to crack, so very few matching number bikes exist. The bike sold to a noted chopper builder in L.A., and he planned to just make it a solid runner.
